Aaydan's 1st Birthday

So my baby boy turned 1 on the 13th of September and we had a little party for him at my in laws house on Sunday. I can't believe he is already one and growing up so fast! I remember the day he was born and how surprised we all were that he was such a tiny baby and now he is our little chunky boy! 1 Year ago on the 13th of September matthew and I went up to the hospital so that I could be induced to have our other little boy. I was induced a week before his actual due date because my doctor thought he would be over 8 pounds and would be too much for me to handle as Tristan was 7lbs 14 oz and was about the limit for me because of how small I am. Little did we know that 5 hours after being induced and 15 minutes of pushing that we would bring into this world a tiny 6lb baby boy! We were all so surprised and I think my doctor more surprised than the rest of us. We have had so much fun this last year with 2 little boys. Aaydan watches Tristan like a hawk and tries to do everything he does. He is our little guys who loves food and spending time with his daddy. Last night when matthew got home he said hi to Aaydan but did not pick him up and walked right passed him and that was not ok with Aaydan. He cried at the top of his lungs until Matthew picked him up and held him. He is such a daddy's boy. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I get to be a stay at home mom, or rather work from home mom, and get watch all the mile stones of their lives and watch them grow. Didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it too because the frosting wasn't think enough but not too bad for an amateur! I told Matthew that I love making this theme cakes for the boys because it is so much fun and I wouldn't mind taking a cake decorating class either so I could get more ideas. So if anyone knows where I can do that, please let me know! Patiently waiting for us to sing to him so he can eat "come on guys! I am ready to eat and tired of waiting!" Our little family at Aaydan's birthday party "ok I have it in front of me, now how am I going to eat this?" This job takes 2 hands! This is pretty yummy! And here is the end result after 2 pieces of cake! Gift time! As you can see my oldest is a little terror at times so we had to use some play handcuffs to take care of the situation! We brought Tristan's bike with us out to my inlaws and he found a nice mud puddle to get stuck in and start spinning his tires thus results in the mudd all over his back! Boy does he love that bike!
