This weekend like any other Memorial weekend for the past 3 years we have been going up to Jordan to help some friends of ours brand their cattle. This is one of the most favorite things that Matthew likes to do. We helped our friend Tony on Saturday and he had around 400 calfs to brand so that made for a long day. Matthew's brother Michael came up on Sunday evening to help with the Monday's brandings so I got a shot of them branding together. It was really nice to have Michael join Matthew and I think he said he would like to do it again next year because he had so much fun. On Monday I think they did about 300 calfs. It was a very nice weekend but we were all definitely tired for the next couple days with not really getting our sleep over the weekend. Tristan got to ride a calf while Matthew held on to him but I don't think he liked that too much, maybe he will like it more next year. Here are some pictures from the weekend, hope you enjoy!

I am not sure if Tristan knew what to think. I think he was a little scared because he didn't want to sit with Matthew for anymore brandings

400 calves is a lot!! That would be lots of work. And fun, if you're Mathew or Braydan :)
