So I finally got all of my Christmas decorations up on Monday and it now feels like Christmas in our home! Since we were having the missionaries over for dinner on Monday I thought it would be nice to have everything done and festive. I don't have many decorations so I guess I will be hitting up the stores after Christmas for some more. I really want a nativity set so maybe I will look for that this year.
We got our tree for $25 at Walmart the day after Thanksgiving. As you can see most of the decorations are towards the top of the tree and that is because my 19 1/2 mth old is obessed with the decorations and taking them off the tree and throwing them because he thinks they are balls! He has broken quite a few already so I will be buying the shatter proof ornaments next year. Now I know how my mom felt with me. She said I used to take all the decorations off numerous times a day and she would always have to redecorate the tree.
I got these stockings at Target embroidered with our first initial. I was going to get a T for Tristan but he saw the puppy stocking and wanted that instead. If you can't tell our stocking holders say JOY I got them and the skirt for our tree at Hobby Lobby for like $30! Majority of their Christmas stuff has been 50%-60% off!
This is pretty much all I have done in my kitchen for decorations, it's a really hard area to decorate and like I said I don't have many decorations but it works.
I really love this time of year. I like to watch all the Christmas movies, listen to the music and spend time with family. Hope you all are enjoying this holiday season as well and don't forget to email me your address so that I can send you a Christmas card!

Isn't it fun to decorate? I'm not decorating this year since we'll be in MT for Christmas.
