So we decided to go on a little road trip over the 4th of July weekend. We left Monday morning and headed up towards Lewistown to check out Crystal Lake to see if we would enjoy camping there sometime. Well we drove all the way up there and the campgrounds were closed because they were under construction! Even though we didn't get to see the campground just the scenery around it was beautiful enough to know that we are going to make it a destination for a camping trip. So we didn't drive all that way for nothing so my brother in law Michael thought it would be fun to just take a nature drive so we drove all over the Little Belt Mountains and decided to take some pictures at a camp site we found.

Yes I have a coat on because it was fairly cool in the mountains that day. But it was so beautiful and couldn't miss out on a family photo!

And then we encountered a cow elk on our journey that day! I had my zoom all the way out so that is why it is so fuzzy. Looks like I need to invest in a new camera huh!
