Venting
Ok so I have to take some time and vent a little right now. I have been stuck with my 2 year old son today all by myself and he drove me crazy! Anyways to start off the day he wasn't doing too bad. He was very patient waiting for me to dye my hair this morning before we went out to my mom's house to hang out for the afternoon. Once we got to my moms he jumped on the trampoline for a little while to release some energy. I left around 3 to take him home for a nap and he fell asleep on the way home so that was nice. And then it all started after he woke up from his nap. I had to run to grocery store to get a couple things for dinner and believe it or not I actually made it out of Walmart without him throwing a tantrum! While I was making dinner he was constantly telling my that he wanted to eat and I had to explain to him that dinner was cooking and it would be ready in a little bit. Once it was done, he hardly ate! I think he had a few bites and then all he wanted to to was play with his trucks. I then gave him a bath after dinner and I walked out for a few seconds and I came back to my bathroom being covered with water! How on earth can he cover the floor with water that fast? I had to soak it up with 2 bath towels! Needless to say his bath was over right then. He usually gets to have about 20 minutes baths but tonight it was maybe only 10 minutes if that. He also hates his head getting wet which makes it even more difficult to wash his hair and he is always trying to climb out of the tub when I am washing his hair. Matthew then got home not too long after Tristan got out of his bath so Tristan got to spend some time with his dad before he left to go hang out Michael. The next part is even better now. Matthew gave Tristan quite a few nummies before he left and when I was getting Tristan ready for bed he was just looking at me really weird and acting like he was choking. He ended up vomiting all over my newly mopped kitchen floor so I had to re-mop it, and while I was in the process of doing that he walked right through the vomit! Thank goodness tonight he was easy to lie down. No screaming or asking for toys. I could definitely tell that he was tired.
Oh the joys of being a mom, our work is NEVER done. I worked so hard on cleaning today and then of course it is not always kept that way when you have a little one around. I hope that by the time this baby arrives that Tristan is actually listening to me a little better and is acknowleding more so he can be more of a help to me than anything. Thanks for listening, hope you all are having a great weekend!

OMG - thanks Stace - this is the best birth control on earth! Sorry you had such a long day...I hear the terrible two's are rough! Hope today is better! XO
It sounds like you had a rough night. I hope that he sleeps in for you after all of that. Days like that are just tough. Baer gave me a hard time today too if it makes you feel any better :)
I've been there done that . . . wait I'm still there :) It's hard when you're pregant too and tired. I've kind resigned myself to just having a messy house some days :)
Those are the worst kind of days! When Tyrel gets home and asks how my day was on those kind of days I say, "I'm about to throw Silas out the window". Good thing they do cute things to redeem themselves!
