A little bit of what my life has been like as a stay at home mom
So the other day I was watching Niah for Chandra while she went to her appointment and Tristan was sleeping most of the time while Niah was there so she managed to play a little by herself. But once Tristan woke up from his nap it was time to have some fun! Tristan loves his little car and he will go into the kitchen and push it around or even times just climb in and sit in it for a little bit, but yesterday he got a little treat from Niah, she pushed him around the kitchen and they had some fun. Here are a couple photos.
Tristan loves to stand up when the car is moving. He did this the other night when Matthew, him and I went on a walk and scared me half to death. I think he just likes to show off to everyone when he does this to show how big of a boy he is.
We don't have the cupboards in the bathrooms baby proofed yet so Tristan likes to climb into the cupboard in the masterbath and one day he got awfully quiet so I went to see what he was doing. He got a hold of my box of tampons and decided to open a couple and this is what I found!
He thought it was so funny and kept saying mom, mom and kept showing me what he did. He was pretty proud of himself. This will definitely be something embarrassing for him in the future! It actually reminded me of something a friend of mine did for his mom. He got a hold of the same things for his mom and built her a house out of them! I think he was like 4 at the time. Too cute! I don't think he knows that his mom told me about it though because he was on his mission when she told me and I never did mention anything.
And last but not least I could not help myself with this picture. I was watching Brityn for Chandra sometime last week and I put her in Tristan's old baby papazan and it vibrates and plays music and I had it on that setting and little Brityn fell asleep with one eye partially opened, too cute not to take a picture.
Well I hope you enjoyed a little bit of my life so far as a stay at home mom. I am loving it and am so blessed to have the gift of being a wife and a mother. I really think that staying home will be an opportunity to improve my homemaking and craft skills. Anybody have any suggestions or ideas of anything?

You are so lucky to be able to stay home. I haven't had that luxury much in all the years of being a mom, so enjoy it will you can. They grow up so fast!
Oh man . . that's hilarious about the tampons :) I'm glad you have picture proof for when he's older! That's so cool you can stay home now with Tristan. If you're looking for ideas, right now I'm doing a scrapbook for Kaleb with a computer program called "my publisher bookmaker" It's through Costco and they print it when you're done designing. It's fun and you don't have to be too crafty or rich to own all the cool 'real' scrapbooking supplies.
niah n tristan are so cute, they look like brother and sister!
Gald you are liking your new life! Little boys are so funny! Tristan looks like he is a little goff ball! I love it! Lately I have been cooking alot to keep busy. I am canning frezzer jam and making homemade honey wheat bread.
What cute kids. They sure look a lot like Mayes kids. That is so neat that you all live by each other and spend birthdays and holidays together. I love close knit families.
Isn't it the greatest? I go in spurts where I try to improve my homemaking skills, sometime it works sometimes it doesn't. One thing I've done a handful of time in the past few months is make homemade bread, and it actually turned out! Good luck and keep the posts coming!
So fun. Tristan looks like a little dare-devil. I bet he loved having Niah push him around...which may lead to him begging you to push him around.
