My best friend Mirandy has been in town for the past week and Tristan and I got together with her yesterday and went to the park. It was fun, but we couldn't do much on the other slides or playground objects because it was so hot outside that they were too hot to the touch. Tristan wasn't too fond of the swing at first when we started pushing him but I told him it was just like daddy throwing him in the air except that daddy wasn't holding onto him and he was fine after that.
Here is Tristan and Mirandy on the slide. After this Tristan just wanted to be down and walk around. WE went and sat underneath a tree in the shade and visited but Tristan would rather walk around everywhere and that is exactly what he did. He was all over the place getting sand in his shoes watching all the other kids at the park. It's nice to be able to let him down and walk and not worry that he will be crawling all over and scratching up his knees. He had lots of fun and really enjoyed himself. That is until we went to leave and he saw a guy pull up on his 4wheeler. Yes our 13 month old is addicted to 4wheelers already! Mirandy was carrying him on her shoulders and he saw the guy and immediately wanted down, so I told her to just let him walk to the car and when she put him down to walk he turned around and started going the opposite way to the 4wheeler! When Mirandy picked him up to take him to the car he started screaming and crying because he wanted to go for a ride. I told Matthew this and he was so happy that Tristan is so interested in ATV's. Oh this is going to be fun raising a boy.

cute picture of tristan on the slide! all baby stages are fun but it is way nice when they get a bit more independant and there personality comes out more! kaneesa is a 4 wheelen girl! she loves them and gets jealous whenever she sees her sisters on them and she is not! all of my girls are just like their daddy when comes to 4 wheelen!!
