Ok so the past few days have been exhausting for both Matthew and I. We have started a new eating and sleeping schedule with Tristan and he did really good the first couple nights and actually slept thru the night! It was the best sleep we have gotten in months! I think Tristan was just teasing us though because now we can't get him to sleep thru the night and it's because he isn't taking his afternoon naps! He is only 9 1/2 mths old he needs a nap, if he doesn't have his nap he doesn't sleep at night therefore I don't sleep at night either. I have tried numerous times to just put Tristan in his crib for his nap at the time he should be laying down and he does nothing but scream for a half hour and then I can't take it anymore and I go in there and get him, I have even tried laying down with him and he still won't sleep! He is such a busy body but needs his sleep. Can anyone relate to this? Any suggestions on how I can get him to take his naps so he will sleep at night?
Besides all that we are doing pretty good. Matthew surprised me on Valentines day with my wedding band. It is absolutely beautiful and matches my engagement ring perfectly. I actually feel married now! Well I guess you could say I feel more complete now that I have both rings. I finally figured out what the problem was with our camera not being read on our computer. We have our Lexmark 3-in-1 that was reading it so the camera software couldn't pick it up because of that. So now I am able to update our pictures more often.

Oh sleep, I remember the days where I didn't even question if I was going to get a full uninterupted nights rest. The best advice that I can give you is let him cry it out. It's hard, I know, but I'd say by 9 months he's ready. One day he might cry for a full 45 minutes before he finally sleeps, the next it will be 30, then 15, then 5, and then he'll zonk out right when you put him down. Is he still taking a morning nap? If so, maybe just try cutting him back to 1 nap a day after lunch (around 12:30 or so) and see if that helps! There is my mom advice for you! Let me know if it works!
I was wondering if you guys have a blog the other day. I'm excited! Tristan is cute with his big blue eyes. I feel for you on the sleep thing. Kaleb is FINALLY sleeping through the night and he's a year!!! Pathetic I know. It's a good thing they're so cute right? Where do you guys live now? What else is new? I guess i'll find out by reading your blog!
